Good evening...No need to apologize for the response to my comment. Pseudothemis...I just started using a computer 1 year ago. I directed a retirement community, 10 years ago I resigned. I was anti-technology! I had no desire to learn the computer. The owner of the facility said not to worry as I had two assistants that had computer skills. My husband wanted a computer out here in the woods, I fought it. Now, I am the one who always is on it, not him! Our connection is not good, due to locaton and my skills are VERY limited on this. I have not connected to anyone since we moved here to consider as a friend...so I guess you could say my friends are on-line! Good thing I gave in to technology. But, I am surrounded by what is important to me...being close to nature. I do miss my family who all live 1-1/2 hours away...of course, they are most important, too!
The last few nights our temperatures were as low as 29 degress...and yesterday, I still saw a few dragons... I was happy, but surprised.

The rain stopped, but the sun does not appear. I hesitate in going to the Dragonfly Pond.
I do not use the car as much as possible in the season of the dragonfly. The reason is because it avoids injuring dragonflies by car. That is why, in this time, I run for dozens of kilos by bicycle.

I hesitated about my using the computer for a long period. However, I began to use the computer and was able to write very many books. My book is possessed in the Library of Congress and the Yale University Library of your country.

Hello Pseudothemis...I must say that I am impressed by your accomplishments! I often wonder why at the reasons of ones' path in life. Such as you...dedicated to study and continued learning, it is a passion with you. Then, there are persons such as myself...who never cared to follow that path. At this time in my life, I look back and wish I had done so many things differently. Of course, I may not have had my children and grandchildren who I love so dearly if I had chose a different path. I feel that one purpose in life is to learn from our mistakes...to look back, reflect...and live as a better person from our lessons.
I will not ask you the names of your books(due to privacy issues on the internet, I am very leary of those problems), I am assuming they may deal with specifics on Odonata or nature.
Regardless, of your books' contents, it sounds as if you lead a very honorable life...and it is great that your health provides you to ride the bicycle so far, everyday!

I gave my half life to a history study. I was crazy about consideration about the Warrior Aristccrat (Samurai) of my country . I wrote many books and published it. In addition, I performed comparative religion, history of thought, tea ceremony, the book editing of the flower arrangement separately. However, I am a real amateur about the dragonfly. I was in love with a dragonfly suddenly. The love claims to be blindness, I stop a thought when I share time with them. I forget oneself is a human being. I think the relation between a dragonfly and me are contact of a soul and the soul.
Hello...Wow!...you never cease to amaze me! You must feel proud of all that you've accomplished in life, and in your past post you have mentioned that you have a son, too. A very busy life you must lead.
I am sure you know that I feel the same as you when surrounded by my dragons...it is about a soul to soul contact. I know I've said it before, but I find it amazing that two entirely different species can feel a connecion with one another...I've noticed this with other creatures in the wild as well. When I'm with my dragons, I, too, lose my thoughts of everything else that may be heavy on my mind!
